Facebook Business Page “Like” Removals – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class account lawsuit on behalf of individuals who own Facebook business pages.  Facebook recently announced it would start removing “likes” from accounts that are deactivated as well as from pages memorialized for the deceased.  It has been alleged that Facebook is also removing likes from pages that are not attributable to deactivated or memorialized accounts, but has failed to disclose that fact to the business owners and has otherwise failed to reimburse or compensate the page owners for the decreased number of “likes.”
