Dish Network Channel Blackout – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of customers of Dish Network.  Dish Network announced that its customers are experiencing the “largest blackout in television history” due to a money dispute between Dish and Sinclair Broadcast Group.  Approximately 5 million Dish customers have been affected by the blackout, and the blackout includes four major broadcast networks, including CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox.  The blackout has been caused by a contract dispute between Dish and Sinclair.  The FCC has also announced that it is investigating the blackout.
