Defective Hoverboard Class Action Investigation

C&T is investigating potential lawsuits against manufacturers of self-balancing hoverboards. It has been widely reported that these products can self-combust and short-circuit during charging. News reports have already indicated that individuals or families that have purchased hoverboards have suffered fire losses and other damages due the hoverboard bursting into flames. Investigation suggests that defects and resulting fire may be related to the lithium ion batteries that are used to power the hoverboards.

If you have purchased a hoverboard with a lithium ion battery and have experienced short-circuiting, self-combustion, or fire loss resulting from the hoverboard, please contact us using the link on this page.
