CSK&D Files Class Action Against Underground Cellar Wine

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith filed a class action complaint in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware on April 28, 2023, asserting claims on behalf of individuals who purchased wine from Underground Cellar that Underground Cellar is currently storing but refusing to ship to. One of the services offered by Underground Cellar was storing any wines purchased by its customers in a temperature-controlled warehouse. Underground Cellar announced on April 24, 2023, that it was ending all sales and shipping of any wine. The Complaint alleges that Underground Cellar did not contact customers whose wine was stored by them about this planned shutdown. As a result, these customers, who often have thousands of dollars-worth of wine stored with Underground Cellar are not able to have any of the wine returned to them.
