Coinstar Amazon Gift Card – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP is investigating a potential class action case related to reports that Constar does not adequately  disclose the minimum amount of coins needed to be eligible for transferring amount to an Amazon gift card. Specifically, consumers using Coinstar kiosks only see these terms about a minimum amount of $5 needed only after the machine has counted their deposited coins. This forces consumers to receive the amount in cash minus a service fee charged for any non gift card transactions.

If you used a Coinstar recently where you were unable to transfer an amount to an Amazon gift card, please contact the attorney(s) listed here.
