Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a proposed class action lawsuit against Chevrolet and GMC for alleged ball joint failures in certain Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra truck models. These models may contain a defect that would cause the ball joints to move around inside of or completely dislodge from the spindle. This issue could have a range of negative results, including an intermittent banging sound emanating from the vehicle front-end suspension and uneven tire wear. In cases where the ball joint completely dislodges from the spindle, drivers of affected vehicles could lose complete control of steering, which could lead to loss of vehicle control and accidents. These issues pose obvious safety concerns and entail expensive repairs.
