Butler & Hosch WARN Act Lawsuit

This case arises out of the sudden closure of Butler & Hosch (B&H) on May 14, 2015, when the 700 employees of B&H were abruptly notified, without any advanced warning, that the law firm was closing. C&T filed an action on behalf of its clients alleging that these mass layoffs and terminations occurred without the requisite 60 days advance written notification of termination being provided under the WARN Act. Certain claims in the initial complaint were dismissed without prejudice. C&T has now filed an Amended Consolidated Complaint alleging a WARN Act claim against B&H, along with other contract claims.
