BMW i-Series Electric Range Mileage – Class Action Investigation

BMW i-Series Electric Range Mileage – Class Action Investigation

C&T is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against BMW relating to the electric range mileage for its i series vehicles, including the all-electric BMW i3 and the plug-in hybrid BMW i8 vehicles. C&T is investigating whether BMW’s i series vehicles were advertised with electric mileage ranges that the vehicles do not achieve when driving in real world conditions, even when fully charged. It has been reported that the real world range for these vehicles is often 50-60% lower than the advertised ranges.

C&T is also investigating reports that when the i3 reaches the end of the battery charge, it will abruptly and dramatically drop in speed to switch to the range-extender mode.
