C&T is investigating a potential class action relating to alleged fraudulent billing practices by the makers or marketers of the Cat’s Meow Toy. Reports indicate that consumers who go to purchase this cat toy product online attempt to take advantage of a 2-for-1 deal, but at the point of purchase are misled into purchasing substantially more product than desired, resulting in a significant bill. Furthermore, reports indicate that once the product is ordered, consumers have no way of undoing or revising orders, and no option to return products. Consumers are reportedly left with the only option of disputing charges and the transaction with their bank or credit card company.
