Apple Powerbeats 3 Wireless Headphones – Potential Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who purchased Apple Powerbeats 3 Wireless Headphones. It has been reported that consumers have experienced problems with these headphones not charging or holding an adequate charge after only a few weeks’ worth of use. Consumers have also complaint that, notwithstanding claims that these were “sweat & water resistant,” they fail to function properly when the user begins to sweat during as workout. Specifically, consumers have reported experiencing the following problems: pausing, volume going in and out and general loss of volume control, turning off, loss of microphone use. Consumers have also reported having to make multiple warranty exchanges, only to be provided with the same product with the same issues. Powerbeats 3 are high end headphones that sell for approximately $200.
