Apple MacBook Pro 2018 Core Throttling – Class Action Investigation

Apple MacBook Pro 2018 Core Throttling – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP (CSK&D) is investigating reports that Apple’s new MacBook Pro, equipped with the optional Core i9 CPU,  is markedly slower than its predecessors.  Based on tests conducted on the system, the thermal design of Apple’s latest MacBook Pro does not provide sufficient cooling for the system’s high-performing Intel Core i9 processor. This issue results in severe throttling of the computer’s performance to prevent any serious damage to the MacBook.

If you own a new MacBook Pro 2018 with intermittent periods of reduced speed and suspect it may be due to the throttling issue, please contact the attorney(s) listed below by filling out the form provided.
