Apple Card Credit Dispute & Refund Problems– Class Action Investigation
CSK&D is investigating a potential class action case against Goldman Sachs (“GS”) related to cardholders of the Apple Card reporting issues with transactional disputes made with GS. Goldman Sachs is the issuing bank for Apple’s heavily promoted credit card and is advertised to work seamlessly with Apple Pay. Cardholders have reported issues though with GS not processing refunds for returned merchandise including Apple products financed through the Apple Card’s finance plan and/or not siding with cardholders in cases of reported fraud as result of stolen credit card information. These disputed and/or fraudulent charges can remain on a cardholder’s statements, forcing the cardholder to pay for the disputed charge or risk incurring interest for leaving it unpaid.
