Anna Jaques Hospital Data Breach  – Class Action Investigation

What Happened at Anna Jaques?

On or around December 25, 2023, Anna Jaques discovered that an unauthorized user had gained access to its system. In response, the Company hired a third-party cybersecurity forensics agency to conduct a thorough investigation and ascertain the scope of the potential data security incident.

The investigation was concluded on November 5, 2024, finding that the personally-identifying information of an estimated 316,342 individuals was compromised including, but not limited to the following: name, medical and health insurance information, social security number, driver’s license number, financial information, and other personal or health records.
