On or around July 2, 2024, an unauthorized user gained access to Alabama Cardiovascular’ s system. Alabama Cardiovascular retained a cybersecurity firm to conduct further investigation to confirm the scope of the breach.
Following the investigation’s completion, it was confirmed that the information compromised may have included, but not limited to: full name, social security number, date of birth, email addresses, mailing addresses, demographic information, passwords, and medical information including dates of service, medication history, lab results, and other medical treatment data.
