Affiliated Dermatologists & Dermatologic Surgeons Data Breach– Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action relating to a data breach incident involving Affiliated Dermatologists and Dermatologic Surgeons (“ADDS”), a Morristown, NJ based dermatology practice.

Specifically, on May 3, 2024, ADDS confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to its network resulting in the compromise of sensitive patient information. As result of the breach, the personal and health information of approximately 380,000 individuals may have been compromised including: names, dates of birth, social security numbers, mailing addresses, treatment information, and health insurance claims information.
