Gas Lease Royalties

Chimicles & Tikellis LLP is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of landowners in the state of West Virginia who have entered into oil and gas lease agreements with XTO Energy, Inc. and/or Linn Energy Holdings, LLC.  C&T is investigating reports that XTO and Linn are deducting post-production costs from landowners’ royalty payments without express authorization in the leasing agreement. C&T is also investigating claims that XTO and Linn are concealing post-production cost deductions from landowners in the royalty payment statements that they provide to landowners.
